I'm not sure if I have ever reviewed this place.....but I've been going there on and off my entire life. Decent to decent+ pub food and drinks. Always full. Service and kitchen timeliness can be slow. But who cares? The building has not changed in 50 years and the prices are stuck in 2005. I am not a big soda drinker, but I always order one here because the fountain is extra syrupy. That popcorn machine does work!
Had lunch again at ABG! Kristen was our amazing server and took great care of us. I have eaten here for years but never tried the chicken salad but saw someone at the table next to me get it. It was excellent! Also got a cup of the lentil and Bavarian wurst soup which was great! I always love how I can find a German Food item on the menu most weeks. Husband loved the smash burger special and the kids loved their pasta (and popcorn).
Mr.Server ignored my kind request to silence a baby forever. It was very obnoxious and loud so was the baby. Overall good besides the very loud and obnoxious Mr.Server
We celebrated my son's baptism party at Allendale Bar and Grille yesterday and had a wonderful time! The private party room was perfect, intimate yet lively for my family. Food was a hit and the private bar was great! I highly recommend Allendale Bar and Grille!
A long time local favorite. Great staff, good food & service! This IS A BAR. Usually very noisy - it's the clientele- not the establishment.
Everything here was great. The soup. The sandwiches. The corn. The beverage selection. The service. And the wings were on point.
We were in town for multiple days & chose to come here several times to dine in and take out. We had been to their sister restaurant in mahwah a couple of times and found to be very good. Allendale Bar & Grill did not disappoint. My pictures are from 2 visits back to back nights. Fun atmosphere, outdoor dining, good food & good service. Very accommodating to dietary needs.
